Walk round Pitsford Water on Sunday 22 May 2016 to raise funds for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and help save lives from drowning.
The start and finish of the walk will be in Brixworth Country Park, starting at 10:30. You can be as quick or as slow as you like, and you can bring the dog too.
But don’t worry – you don’t have to walk round Pitsford Water in wellies! And you don’t have to do the whole 11 kilometres circuit if you don’t want to as there is also a short route of 5 kilometres.
Entry fees are £10 for adults and £5 for children under 16 (free for children under 11) and we ask that adults set themselves a sponsorship target of £45 to cover the cost of a pair of wellies for a member of our lifeboat crews. So you can enjoy a lovely walk through this Site of Special Scientific Interest, spotting the prolific wildlife and raising money for the RNLI at the same time. Walkers will get an RNLI yellow welly badge and a T-shirt (subject to availability).
You can register for the RNLI Welly Walk at Eventbrite where you will also find a link to set up your own sponsorship page so that you can invite family and friends to sponsor you for the walk.
If you prefer not to register online, or have any questions, then email us at RNLINorthamptonWelly@outlook.com or call us on 07710 568860.
Pitsford Water RNLI Welly Walk is organised by RNLI Northampton Branch. All money raised will go to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
